Formed in 1985 just to release this album. This is apparently VIRGIN STEELE minus Jack Starr, however this sounds nothing like VIRGIN STEELE. This is heavy satanic thrash, that at times is a little cheesy but still very good. This is a fun record and its no wonder, David Defeis also wrote some tracks for PILEDRIVER, one of my child hood favorites. Also this band features Edward Pursino from PILEDRIVER on guitar. The first time I heard this one I loved it and I loved the vocals."Black mass" is the best track here, but there all pretty cool and well played.This close to death metal at times but remains classic thrash, just very heavy thrash.

I used to bootleg the fuck outta this one back in the days when you could get away with that shit on Ebay. Had those silver bottom CDR's that look real and had a machine that printed on 'em and would spray a coating over the ink-jet printing on top of the CD so it would not run or smear if it got wet. Would reproduce the booklets, everything. Those were the good ole days of Ebay. And hell, everyone was happy as a pig in shit when they got their CD, so all was well.
