WOW, here's another just blazing heavy rock record. Post-Atomic Rooster, Pre-Hard Stuff. Great heavy guitars play upbeat downer rock classics. How can an album this energetic be doomy, I don't know but that's just what this is. Again the guitars sound so great, the solo's and playing are top notch and the songs are all very well written. It would be hard to put these guys into just one category for sure. There's a lot of different shit going on here, but it's all hard and heavy. Fantastic stuff!!

Excellent timing, I was just telling Mike Desert about the merits of this album the other day.
ReplyDeleteGreat album, I was jamming this one a few nights ago.
ReplyDeleteAwesome bunch of posts the past couple days, thanks allot! Psyched to check out that Lovecraft shit, audiobooks are perfect for illiterate people like myself.
ReplyDeleteDuuuuuuuude. Daemon fucking rules!
ReplyDeleteYeah what a killer record, glad to see so many people dig this one.
ReplyDeleteHow can you go wrong with a title like Entrance to Hell!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have read that this is just Hard Stuff from the Bulletproof LP (with maybe a different mix?) and another band's tracks thrown on at the end. I will definitely give this a try since I love all John Du Cann's stuff. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great album...the solos are blazin'!
